Inspired by the artwork and legacy of Neltje, how to milk a ghost is an ongoing project and dance exploration that draws from Neltje’s bold gestures, layered textures, and uncompromising voice. It explores the relentlessly lingering presence of what has been silenced—voices buried, stories withheld, instincts muted. Ultimately, this is the beginning of an experimentation focusing on reclamation: of voice, of space, of self.
