Twigs + Co (formerly known as The Gray, founded in Seattle in 2019) is a contemporary ballet company currently based in Colorado. Established by choreographer and multidisciplinary dance artist Beth Twigs, the company blends the precision and discipline of classical ballet with the spontaneity and invention of experimental movement and narrative dance-theater.

Rooted in a collaborative creative process, Twigs + Co develops work that interrogates and celebrates the complexities of being human. The company’s repertory explores themes of gender, consent, trauma resilience, power, absurdity, and humor, often through bold physicality, intimate storytelling, and immersive audience engagement.
